Here are three paragraphs on the first day at school, for Class 5, Class 6 and Class 9.
Class 5 (100 Words)
My first day at school was a happy day. I wore a new uniform and carried a new bag. My mother walked with me to the gate. A teacher smiled at me and showed me my class. I sat next to a girl called Seema. She shared her crayons with me. We sang a song and heard a story. At lunch, we ate together. I did not want to go home. I still remember that day.
Class 6 (120 Words)
On my first day in Class 6, I felt both excited and afraid. This was a new school with big corridors and many students. My class teacher greeted us with a warm smile and asked us to introduce ourselves. I said my name in a soft voice. A boy in the next seat whispered, Hello, I am Ravi. We became friends right away.
We got our books and our timetable. At lunch, Ravi showed me the library. By the end of the day, I felt that I belonged.
Class 9 (150 Words)
Class 9 is a big step, and my first day showed me why. The school felt different. The teachers spoke to us as grown-ups, and the subjects looked tougher.
The principal told us that this year would set the base for our board exams. Our class teacher shared the rules and the plan for the year. We also met subject teachers, one by one.
I was nervous, but my classmates were friendly. We made a group chat for notes, and we promised to help each other.
At home, I told my parents that I was ready to work hard. It felt like the start of something important.
