If I Were the Principal (250 Words)

If I were the principal of my school, I would work hard to make it a happy and safe place.

First, I would meet the teachers every week and hear their ideas. I would also meet students and listen to their problems. A good leader listens.

Second, I would make the school greener. I would plant more trees and set up a rainwater tank. I would put dustbins in every corner.

Third, I would improve the library. I would buy more story books and open the library after school.

Fourth, I would give more time to games and art. Studies are important, but a child also needs to play and create.

Fifth, I would be strict about being kind. There would be no bullying in my school. Every child would be treated with respect.

I would also thank my teachers often and reward students for good deeds.

Being a principal is a big duty. I would try to be fair, kind and firm. I want every student to say, I love my school.
