Our school library is on the ground floor. It has long tables, soft light and tall shelves full of books. We have story books, science books and magazines. The librarian helps us to choose books. We go to the library once a week. Reading there is peaceful. I have read many stories and learned many facts. I always return my books on time. Our library is a treasure for every student.
Our School Library Essay (200 Words)
Every school needs a good library, and ours is a good one. It has more than five thousand books on many subjects. There are books for small children with colourful pictures. There are also books for older students on science, history and the arts.
The library is open from 8 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon. Each student has a library card. We can take one book for a week.
Our librarian, Mrs Verma, is kind and well read. She tells us about new books and suggests what to read next.
The library has strict rules. We must keep silent and take care of the books. We must not tear pages or write on them.
The library has made me a better reader. I now read one book each week. It has also improved my English.
